500 GB Blue Xbox 360 Confirmed; Includes Two Call of Duty Games for $250

The rumors were right. Today, Microsoft officially announced a new blue Xbox 360 system bundle featuring the biggest hard drive ever for the console and two free games.

Just as a leaked Wal-Mart ad scan indicated, the $250 special edition bundle includes a 500 GB blue system, matching blue controller, one month of Xbox Live Gold, and copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty: Ghosts.

The system will be exclusive to Walmart, and has been announced only for the United States. It launches on October 7.

This was one of three new Xbox 360 bundles announced today. Another is the 500 GB Holiday Value Bundle (at left), which will be available at retailers nationwide next week. It includes everything mentioned above, only the console and controller are the standard black color.

Third, a new 4 GB Xbox 360 Kinect bundle coming exclusively to Target will include the system and the camera, as well as three games: Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports, and Forza Horizon. This bundle will sell for $250, though a launch date was not announced.

The Xbox 360 was first released in November 2005, meaning this holiday season marks the console's ninth year on the market. The system has sold over 84 million units worldwide to date.

In true UAE style, the world’s first gold gaming consoles will be unveiled at GAMES14

GAMES14 starts off tomorrow, and if the hefty set of games showcased is not attraction enough, what about the world’s first Xbox and PS4 consoles made of gold? Retailer Jumbo will also exclusively premier the special gold consoles which feature a rose gold case created by renowned Italian jeweler Gatti. The devices will be available for sale at the gaming show. Mind you, a life-long passion for gaming is merely incidental if you’re planning to acquire one of these collectible consoles. What is Cloud Gaming ?

Cloud gaming, sometimes called gaming on demand, is a type of online gaming.

So to make it understandable for everyone, cloud gaming is a way to play games without purchasing it from the stores, we can download the game from XBL but it's not like that. You can play the game without downloading the whole game. it's just like Live Video Streaming, you stream the game into your console you play then.

Basically, it hasn't started yet, because to stream a game of 30 gig's and if you have a slower internet. That's not going to work. If you pay 40 AED for a 24 hour game and the game takes a day to download, it's a total waste. So this is still work in progress, but Sony has started this for their PS4 consoles to play streaming PS3 Games.

XBOX One will support all of the media format's such as mkv,mp4..

Media Player – a new app will be available soon that enables users to play media files from either an attached USB device or from a network connected home media server that supports DLNA protocols.

The preview version of the Media Player app will initially only support USB devices, with DLNA support coming soon.

Xbox One will support more formats than Xbox 360, including support for dozens of new file formats like mpeg 2 TS, animated gifs and mkv which will be added by the end of the year.

COD:Adavance Warfare Xbox One announced with storage of 1 TB

A limited edition Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare XBOX One console has been announced. It looks rather promising.

Sporting a custom Sentinel Task Force design with in-game sound effects and a matching controller, the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Xbox One bundle comes with a 1TB hard drive — double the storage of the standard models.

Additionally, each system will come with a digital Day Zero Edition of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare with unique in-game bonuses, like a custom exoskeleton, a digital personalization pack, and the Advanced Arsenal, which includes the EM1 Quantum directed energy weapon and bullet brass exoskeleton.
